DCADHA is a department with a marked multidisciplinary character composed of a team of lecturers specialising in 8 different areas of knowledge:

Museology or Cultural Management
The versatility of these areas allows the creation of synergies with other fields and disciplines, promoting interdisciplinarity and transdisciplinarity. The insights from these areas of knowledge allow other disciplines to be provided with practical and applied solutions (for example Mathematics, Statistics, Sociology, Economics, Computer Science, History) as well as to develop emerging lines of research due to knowledge obtained from these subjects (for example, Digital Humanities, content marketing, web bibliometrics).
The scientific and professional collaboration of DCADHA staff is reflected in their extensive participation in research projects and consultancy contracts that have been conducted with multiple companies and universities in diverse areas, from the development of thoroughly multidisciplinary work teams providing knowledge transfer to society.
